How a claim moves, step by step
Every case is different, but most follow this path. Citlali tells you where yours stands at each step.

Step 1: A free first call
Tell us what happened, in English or Spanish. We'll say plainly whether we can help, and what to do this week either way.

Step 2: A written agreement
If we take your case, you get a contingency agreement to read before you sign, in the language you prefer. It spells out the fee and the costs.

Step 3: We gather the proof
Police reports, photos, medical records, bills, witnesses. You keep healing; we keep the file and send you updates.

Step 4: The demand and the talks
Once your treatment settles, we send the insurer a demand and negotiate. You decide whether to take any offer.

Step 5: Court, if it comes to that
If the offer isn't fair, we can file a lawsuit. Many cases settle before trial, and we prepare yours as if it won't.
Fees, costs and what you sign
You pay no attorney's fee up front. The fee is a percentage of the money we recover, written in your agreement before any work starts. If there's no recovery, you owe no attorney's fee.
Case costs are separate from the fee. They're things like medical records, filing fees and expert reports. Your agreement says how they're paid and whether you owe them if there's no recovery. Ask us to go through it with you line by line.
